I am not sure that would work for me. A basic point to consider when improving or practicing foot technique is to have exactly the same conditions over a long period of time. By same conditions I mean making sure that the tension remains the same, angle to the drum head remains the same, throne height etc...Doesn't removing the beater throw you off a little when returning to your kit?

Yeah not sure that would work for me....not sure Iam following you donu......

I like the groove that Carlin Muccular uses to increase speed/endurance in his right foot....
The groove sounds good too!!! That always helps!!!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The bass pedal is already on my kit, now about the fact that the pedal don't stop like it stop with a beater who hit the head yes, it's not perfect, i'll just try that to practice time to time

That reminds me of something:
At a Dennis Chambers clinic I attended, he said that he developed his right foot by practicing with no spring on the pedal, yet getting the beater to move...like Buddy Rich did. I wonder if this is true or a legend!?!

If anybody can move that thing without the spring, please tell me how, because I can't.

I'm opting for "legend"...

Kind of like how he doesn't read at all period, perhaps [nor ever practices for the last 15 years]? J/K
